Productivity increase for the coarse yarn sector with integrated doffer with our Roving frame

Zinser 670 BigPac

The Zinser 670 BigPac with bobbin sizes of 20" x 7" is based on the roving frame Zinser 670 RoWeMat. The machine was especially designed for coarse yarn counts such as e.g. Denim. The big bobbin size allows considerable productivity increases at the roving frame itself as well as at the ring spinning machine.

Higher productivity

  • Bobbin size 20" x 7" for high bobbin weights and high winding lengths.
  • Up to 100 % higher bobbin weights at the Zinser 670 BigPac. 
  • The bobbin size of 20" x 7" allows considerable productivity increases at the roving frame.
  • Considerable productivity increases also at the ring spinning machine.
  • Due to the high winding length of the up to 4 kg bobbins, operating and set-up times are reduced.
  • Longer running times at the roving frame and at the ring spinning machine reduce the number of bobbin changes.
  • Longer changing intervals and transport automation components considerably improve the logistics in the spinning mill. 
  • The high winding length also results in an improved yarn quality through reduced handling and less yarn breakages at the ring spinning machine.

 

The automation concept

  • Optimum integration of Zinser 670 BigPac in the spinning mill.
  • Integration of doffing in the machine similar to Zinser 670 RoWeMat.
  • Fully automatic doffing - less operating expenditure and high efficiency.
  • Different levels of automation are possible and are individually customised by Oerlikon Schlafhorst.
  • Manual removal of the full bobbins from the storage unit.
  • Alternatively: bobbin transfer between roving frame and roving bobbin transport system by means of the fully automatic transfer station RoWeLift.
  • In combination with the CimTrack 4 creel at the ring spinning machine, the material flow of the 20" x 7" bobbins is fully automated.
